The Only murders in the building crew temporarily relocated from the hallowed halls of Arconia to the famed Beverly Hilton for the 82nd edition Golden Globes.
Only murders in the building was nominated in four categoriesincluding Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy. The three main actors – Steve Martin, Martin Krátky and Selena Gomez — were also honored with individual nominations. OMIT lost Best TV Series, Musical or Comedy Hacks.
Martin, 79, and Short, 74, were nominated against each other for best actor in a television series and comedy Adam Brody (Nobody wants this), Ted Danson (AND man inside), Jason Segel (Downsizing) a Jeremy Allen White (bear). Thirty-three-year-old White took home this award despite not being present at the ceremony.
Gomez, 32, was awarded Best Actress in a Television Series in the Comedy category Kristen Bell (Nobody wants this), Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary School), Hi Edebiri (Bear), Kathryn Hahn (Agatha all the time) a Jean Smart (hacks). When Gomez lost to Smart, 73, she was seen clapping enthusiastically from her seat.

Martin and Short have also received regular nominations since the Hulu series premiered in 2021. While OMIT was nominated for a total of 16 Globes, the show had yet to win a single trophy before Sunday’s ceremony.
